Elke Höfler as a guest on the podcast "Explain the world to me"

"AI literacy, i.e. knowledge of how artificial intelligence works, is important. You can't build a house without a foundation," says Elke Höfler, cluster spokesperson for the Education Technology(s) Cluster. She discusses these and other viewpoints and questions relating to AI, creativity, schools and further education in the 340th episode of the Austrian knowledge podcast "Explain the world to me". Host Andreas Sator started from the central question of what we should still be learning when ChatGPT and AI will soon be able to do everything better than us.
Elke Höfler's answer to this question is clear: "Factual knowledge is more important than ever. Because AI likes to hallucinate. That's not surprising, because AI is based on probability, not truth. It is up to humans to distinguish hallucinations from facts.
